We are very proud to announce last night we won a DailyDooh award for Best Stadium / Office Building / Corporate / Hotel, Hospitality or Leisure Install for our work with hub by Premier Inn.
Both Peter Critchley and Barry Thurston were on hand to accept the award for us.
We worked closely with the architects and Whitbread’s web and marketing team to come up with solution. Whitbread wanted to have a feature wall in reception that displayed a static map of the local area.
We added to this an 1 x 11 Christie Microtile wall and designed content in the form of video and live data feeds from TfL and the Met Office plus ‘Whats On’ etc that was mindful of the small, but ever present screen bezels.
In addition the glass wall incorporates a through-the-glass 32” multipoint touch screen running a set of Android Apps with a custom interface designed by the team. These apps are mirrored on wall mounted bouncepads enclosing Samsung Galaxy Tab III’s.
Finally, Whitbread wanted to inform guests when travelling in the lift. We decided to use a simple digital signage solution to display white on black messages but deliver it through a special glass which acts like a mirror but allows the screen messages to show through.
The effect is subtle and innovative, reflecting the hub by Premier Inn’s approach at this exciting new hotel destination.
