2022 Best Digital Engagement Winner - RMI Awards

Trison with Maragame UK have been awarded Best Digital Engagement at the 2022 Restaurant Marketer & Innovator Awards.

Much loved Japanese noodle brand Marugame Udon are in the process of opening their first branches in the UK, the very first of which was opened in Spitalfields/London in July last year. Marugame Udon wished to partner with an innovative and forward thinking digital agency, capable of leveraging digital to engage with prospective customers, build brand awareness and create a unique buzz around their first opening - even prior to launch.

With the above in mind, we set about designing an integrated digital engagement environment which begins as a part of the restaurant build itself - and continues right through opening, and post-launch operations. This was seen as key to introducing this new brand to the UK. LED deployed during the restaurant build was then repurposed internally once the restaurant was open.

We have simplified the customer journey by integrating the order collection, EPOS and food management systems to keep our whole solution live and up to date with any stock changes, nutritional information or pricing changes and the large-scale LED continues to drive brand engagement whether in-window, or in-restaurant. Even the digital Menus use stunning video to underscore the digital engagement piece.

Needless to say, Marugame Udon has already established itself as a firm favourite with hardcore noodle fans in the UK (!) and we very much look forward to continuing this brilliant collaboration together as they continue to grow.
